<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptive frame rate reduction video transcoding system used for converting the audio video data streams of an image group structure in which the respective images of an image group are composed of a plurality of macroblocks. <P>SOLUTION: This system is provided with a switching device, a variable length decoder, a motion vector compensation device, a storage device, a decoder and an encoder. The motion vector compensation device calculates the motion vector of the outputted macroblock by an input image type. For the problem that complete frame rate reduction transcoding can not be performed for the video data of I and B image types by well-known technology, image video signals are transcoded completely at high speed, the calculation amount of transcoding is reduced and a transcoding process is accelerated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
