PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable phone equipped with a multi-functional key switch device operating a key top in slanting in multiple directions, of which, the switch is not damaged even if a pushing operation making the key top forcibly and strongly slant is applied. SOLUTION: An axis 62d of the key top 62 has a claw part 62d1 on a peripheral face at a lower end, and a split groove 62d2 at a lower side. A stick 61 of a stick switch 60 is formed in a cylinder shape, an opening for fitting 61a is formed on a peripheral face thereof, and a slit 61b extending from the opening for fitting 61a to the upper end of the stick 61 is formed thereon. The axis 62d of the key top 62 is fitted in the cylinder-shaped stick 61, and the claw 62d1 engages with the opening for fitting 61a. Even when the key top 62 is forcibly and strongly operated, the stick switch 60 is not damaged because a moment is generated on the key top 62, the claw part 62d1 is wrenched to open the slit 61b and slips out from the opening for fitting 61a, and the axis 62d comes off from the stick 61.
