PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stripping solution having high cleaning performance and a long lifetime and easy to handle as a stripping solution used for reusing a conductive substrate of an organic photoreceptor by efficiently removing a photosensitive layer of the photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The stripping solution for a photosensitive layer on an organic photoreceptor containing a polycarbonate resin is a homogeneous liquid containing an organic solvent which does not dissolve a polycarbonate resin in addition to an organic solvent which dissolves a polycarbonate resin, and can strip a polycarbonate resin coating layer in the form of a film.
