PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll type compressor, in which strength of a pin to compose a rotation prohibiting mechanism can be improved without being affected by rotation radius of a movable scroll so as to achieve excellent durability. SOLUTION: This scroll type compressor comprises a fixed scroll and the movable scroll in the housing, and it is provided with the rotation prohibiting mechanism comprising a first pin having an insert part inserted toward the housing and a projected part projected toward the movable scroll, a second pin having an insert part inserted toward the movable scroll and a projected part projected toward the housing, and a link member connecting the projected parts of the first pin and the second pin to each other, so that the movable scroll is rotated to the fixed scroll.
