PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass plate transportation tool used for a glass plate bending apparatus and capable of efficiently carrying out changing work. SOLUTION: The glass plate transportation tool 10 is constituted of a chain pin 17 and a head part 16 connected to be freely rocked to the tip part 17A of the chain pin 17 through a L-pin 18. The L-pin 18 is engaged with a pin hole 19 of the chain pin 17 and pin holes 20 and 21 of the head part 16. A positioning projecting part 24 for allowing the pin holes 19, 20 and 21 of both side to agree with each other is formed on the head part 16. When the end surface 17B of the tip part 17A of the chain pin 17 is brought into contact with the positioning projecting part 24, the pin holes 19, 20 and 21 of both side agree with each other in the axial direction of the chain pin 17. After that, the chain pin 17 and the head part 16 are rotated relatively around the axis of the chain pin 17 to allow the pin holes 19, 20 and 21 to coincide with each other on a straight line and the L-pin 18 is engaged with the pin hole 21 from the outside of the pin hole 19 through the pin hole 20 from the pin hole 19.
