MAGNET APPARATUS AND MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress vibration of gradient magnetic field coils or to suppress propagation of the vibration of the gradient magnetic field coils to main magnets in a magnet apparatus and magnetic resonance imaging equipment. SOLUTION: This magnet apparatus is provided with a connecting pillar section 5 formed with a space 7 for securing a uniform static magnetic field space 8 generated by a first main magnet 1 and a second main magnet 3 between a first cryostat section 2 and a second cryostat section 4; a first gradient magnetic field coil 211 disposed outside the first cryostat section corresponding to the first main magnet; a second gradient magnetic field coil 212 disposed outside the second cryostat section corresponding to the second main magnet and defining the uniform static magnetic field as an arbitrary gradient magnetic field along with the first gradient magnetic field coil; and a support section connecting the first gradient magnetic field coil to the second magnetic field coil in the space and supporting the both of the first gradient magnetic field coil and the second magnetic field coil.
