Park-assistance for parallel parking

The method for the making available of information for parallel parking of a vehicle with regard to the road entails the creating of signals to identify the remaining distance to the next stopping point of the vehicle. The speed of the vehicle and/or the reaction time of the driver are determined regard to the aforesaid signals and depending upon these signals a signal or signals are produced to identify the remaining distance to the next stopping point of the vehicle. An independent claim is included for a parking assistant for the making available of information for parallel parking of a vehicle with regard to the road.
