The double rail travelling trolley has a first running gear carrier (301) connected to a second running gear (302) by a cross beam (303). Lifting gear (304) is fastened on the side of cross beam between the running gear carriers in such a way that the lifting gear does not protrude above the running gear carriers. The cable drum (305) and cable end fastening (309) of the lifting gear are located on one side of the cross beam and an upper block and tackle (308) on the opposite side.
