Low-frequency signal detection device

The accelerometer has a sensor measuring an external signal and having a resonance frequency. A parametric amplifier (60) has a non-linear impedance matching circuit (30) amplifying the measured signal and shifting the signal to a high frequency. The amplifier has a pumping circuit (40) controlling the circuit (30) and delivering pumping signals to non-linearly vary a value of a capacitor of the circuit (30) to the resonance frequency. An independent claim is also included for a method of detecting external signals.
