PREVENTING PRINTER TONER LEAKAGE

A printer cartridge comprising a sealant to prevent toner leakage where in the sealant comprises an oil and a thickener. The oil is a perhalogenated oi l, a silicone oil or a synthetic hydrocarbon oil. The sealant is applied as a coating on at least one of the surface each end of a developer roller or the surface of each of a pair of end seals bearing against one end each of the developer roller. Ther e is also disclosed a method to remanufacture printer cartridges with reduced ton er leakage.
