The harvesting unit (1) is assembled of a tractor (4) with the drivers cabin in a raised position above the wheels (2), and the front attachment (5), comprising several rotating cutting (11) and guiding devices (13) joined to carrying arms. The attachment (5) is designed as a particularly wide central arm (7), transitional arms (7) swivel mounted to both sides and short outer arms (8) swivel mounted to the transitional arms (7). For transport the transitional arms (7) are folded upwards and the outer arms (8) outwards. In a third step the raised arms (7, 8) are moved into a position forming an acute angle with the central arm (6). |
