FIELD: glass industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to colored sodium-calcium glasses with sky-blue tone and comprising the following components, wt.-%; MgO, 2; Fe2O3, above 1.1; FeO, less 0.53, and MnO2, 0.005-0.13. Transmission index of glass is above 15%, selectivity is above 1.2, dominating length of wave (lambdaD) from 476 to 490 nm and excitation purity 17.59%, not less, at the source of light A and for glass thickness 4 mm. Indicated glasses are especially useful for side glasses, back glasses and manhole in motor transport.
