FIELD: hydrometry. ^ SUBSTANCE: method can be used for hydrological observations, particularly for calculating consumption of river's water at water gauge stations. Ruler provided with divisions is made for floating and is fixed by means of flexible link at the side of stroboscope in opposition to stream flow.
