FIELD: railway transport; railway car building. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of seats for passengers in all modifications of cars for underground and surface railways. Proposed seat contains backrest and base installed for turning by mechanisms including bracket of seat base with axle. Each said turning mechanism is furnished with seat backrest bracket with slot for turning and fixing backrest relative to seat base and is provided with inner cylindrical surface with groove two sides of which are parallel. Bracket is installed on axle on which two parallel flats are made at angle to horizontal axis for engagement with grooves of slot when disconnecting the joint. Bracket of backrest and bracket of seat base are rigidly mould into backrest and seat base, respectively. ^ EFFECT: improved operating characteristics of seat and its repairability. ^ 4 dwg
