FIELD: testing engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: device comprises drive, movable grips one of which allows the movement of the end of the specimen along the grip, and lever transmitting mechanism. The grips are pivotally connected with the slides and are interconnected through a pivot arranged at the same distance from the grips. The pivot that connects the grips is connected to the lever mechanism. In the neutral position, the pivot that connects the grips, the pivot connection of the slides, and mid-surface of the specimen are arranged in the same plane, and the guides of the slides are parallel to this plane.
