FIELD: electrical energy generation. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed magnetoelectric current generator has frame accommodating toroidal stator. The latter is made of flat permanent magnets with their north poles downward and winding coils in-between for taking off electromotive force. Rotor disposed within stator is made in the form of electromagnet, its power buses are installed on inner surface of stator. Stator buses are made in the form of hemispherical annular troughs equally spaced apart; their mating hemispherical seats are made on end sections of rotor core and accommodate spring-loaded balls affording contact with troughs and reduction of frictional force between stator and rotor. Stator annular troughs, balls, and their seats are made of conducting metal-ceramic materials. ^ EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and improved performance characteristics. ^ 1 cl, 6 dwg |
