PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a source driver for a liquid crystal display device in which the area of D/A conversion circuits can be reduced without generating a parasitic transistor. SOLUTION: Out of MOS transistors constituting a D/A conversion circuit High (603) and a D/A conversion circuit Low (609) in the source driver of the liquid crystal display device, the gate electrodes of MOS transistors corresponding to the same bit digit of an inputted digital signal are respectively connected on the same layer as the gate electrodes by using polysilicon, and amplitude determination circuits (604, 606) in which voltage which is not generated by a parasitic transistor, between MOS transistors constituting the D/A conversion circuit High (603) and the D/A conversion circuit Low (609), is generated as gate voltage for conducting the MOS transistors are provided.
