PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display driver capable of realizing suitable display characteristics, an electro-optical device and a method for setting a parameter of the display driver. SOLUTION: The display driver comprises a correction parameter register 40 for storing a correction parameter for correcting a contrast adjustment value, an operation circuit 50 for calculating a corrected contrast adjustment value by adding a correction value specified by the correction parameter to a contrast adjustment value specified by a processing part, a driving circuit for driving a display panel by driving voltage obtained on the basis of the corrected contract adjustment value, a memory control circuit for performing access control to a memory for storing at least the correction parameter, and a register writing circuit for refreshing the correction parameter register 40 by writing the correction parameter read out from the memory in the correction parameter register 40 at given refresh timing.
