PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the operation method and the related device for a vehicle equipped with an internal combustion engine, designed to reduce a fuel consumption during the coasting of the vehicle. SOLUTION: This invention concerns the operation method for the vehicle with an internal combustion engine (1) arranged to reduce fuel consumption during the coasting of the vehicle and the device (25) designed for the purpose. An air feed volume to the internal combustion engine (1) is set through an adjustment factor (5).
