ANT-REPELLENT COATING AGENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a white ant-repellent coating agent utilizing natural cleaning action inherent in natural raw materials. SOLUTION: This ant-repellent coating agent contains both of a Japanese cypress essential oil and bamboo charcoal. The ant-repellent coating agent preferably comprises 10-30 pts.wt. of the Japanese cypress essential oil and 10-30 pts.wt. of the bamboo charcoal powder having an average particle diameter of 10-20μm. The ant-repellent coating agent may further contain an acrylic resin emulsion as an adhesive to a wooded part. The ant-repellent coating agent may furthermore contain an aqueous solution of natural saccharides as the adhesive to the wooded part, and may still furthermore contain a thickener, an anti-foaming agent, and a surfactant the each of which can be used as a food additive.
