PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a torque mechanism generating click sound by a cap device with a simple structure of a less number of parts. SOLUTION: A fuel cap 10 is equipped with a cap main body 20, a cover body 40 with a handle 42, and a torque mechanism 80. The torque mechanism 80 is equipped with a torque transmission part 82 and a click sound generation part 84. In response to a rotation of the handle 42 in a closing direction, a rotational torque is transmitted from a torque transmission rib 44 composing the torque mechanism 80 to a deflection spring 93. The deflection spring 93 is elastically deflected to transmit a predetermined rotational torque and accumulate a spring force by rotation of the cover body 40 in the closing direction. When the spring force is accumulated to or over a predetermined level, and the cover body 40 and the cap main body 20 are relatively rotated to or over a predetermined angle, a click sound is generated by the click sound generation part 84. When the user releases the hold of the handle 42, the accumulated spring force of the deflection spring 93 restores the click sound generation part 84 to the initial position.
