PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus which realizes high-concentration and high-density recording while effects to the performance of the apparatus and development cost are kept minimum. SOLUTION: When a dot count of at least one inkjet head among inkjet heads 201-206 is a predetermined or larger count number, printing data is divided to two image patterns with every half of a printing duty in an image processing apparatus. In the first place, the image pattern of a half density is printed to a recording medium 101 which passes under the inkjet heads 201-206. Thereafter, the recording medium 101 is transferred to a double-sided reversal mechanism 150 and transferred again onto a transfer belt 102. The image pattern of the remaining half is printed here.
