The invention relates to an explosion-resistant housing of the type of a pressure-proof enclosure comprising an integrated inspection glass. At least one electronic unit is disposed inside said explosion-resistant housing while one or several touch panels of the electronic unit and of a display unit rest against the interior surface of the inspection glass in order to influence the electronic unit from outside. The touch fields and the display unit are integrated in a single subassembly. Telescope-type pressing elements are arranged inside the explosion-resistant housing. The touch panels and/or the subassembly are pressed against the interior surface of the inspection glass.
