<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coolant cleaning device, wherein a new method is adopted, capable of miniaturizing the device while eliminating sludge such as chips and abrasive grains accumulated on the bottom of a coolant tank. <P>SOLUTION: The coolant cleaning device is provided with a primary circular vortex coolant tank 17 having a primary coolant circulation pump 11 for generating vortex 12 in coolant flowing-out from a working machine, or the like; a magnetic separator 18 having processing capacity less than the capacity flowing in the coolant cleaning device; a secondary circular vortex coolant tank 25 having a secondary coolant circulation pump 19 and incorporating a hollow conical partition 30, for generating the vortex 20, 56 in the coolant; a clean pump 33 for forcibly feeding clean coolant after cleaning reserved between a side face 31 of the secondary circular vortex coolant tank 25 and the hollow conical partition 30; and a gutter 34 for communicating the hollow conical partition 30 with the primary circular vortex coolant tank 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
