<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining succeeding cropping plants by which a plant suitable for succeeding cropping of a plant having possibility to release an allelopathic substance can simply be selected in a short period. <P>SOLUTION: The method for determining succeeding cropping plants comprises a plant-culturing step for carrying out hydroponics of a plant having possibility to release the an allelopathic substance, culture solution-collecting step for collecting the culture solution after carrying out hydroponics in a plant-culturing step, a culture solution-producing step for determination for adjusting a nourishment concentration of the culture solution collected in a culture solution-collecting step so as to become same nourishment concentration of unused culture solution and producing the culture solution for determination, a candidate plant-culturing step for carrying out hydroponics of a candidate plant which becomes a candidate for plant used for succeeding cropping by using the culture solution for determination and unused culture solution and a candidate plant-determining step for comparing a growth state of the candidate plant hydroponically cultured in the unused culture solution with growth state of the candidate plant hydroponically cultured in the culture solution for determination and determining whether the candidate plant is suitable for succeeding cropping or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
