PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop various print services that realize both user-friendliness and security, by operating an image processing apparatus in different sequences depending on the lock state of a lockable sheet feeding unit.

SOLUTION: The image processing device is provided with a sheet feeding means having a plurality of sheet feeding units including one or more lockable sheet feeding units. A CPU 302 determines a lock state of the lock of the lockable sheet feeding unit(s) among the plurality of sheet feeding units, and causes sheets to be fed from the lockable sheet feeding unit(s) in different sequences according to the determination result.
