<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a technique for suppressing a non-specific reaction in a real time PCR method. <P>SOLUTION: This method is a real time PCR (polymerase chain reaction) method to perform the PCR method in the presence of a primer pair necessary for the amplification of a specific sequence of a target nucleic acid and contains a step to perform a plurality of detections of the nucleic acid amplified in either step of PCR.
