<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive-working heat-sensitive lithographic printing plate precursor having an improved sensitivity and at the same time a high underexposure latitude and a high developer resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The positive-working lithographic printing plate precursor comprises, on a support having a hydrophilic surface or which is provided with a hydrophilic layer, an oleophilic coating comprising an infrared absorbing agent, an alkali-soluble polymeric binder and a polysiloxane which comprises at least one carboxylic acid group or a salt thereof.
