摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a steel strip having a good shape over the entire length of a coil even just after starting a rolling. <P>SOLUTION: The controlled variables of a shape control means are calculated and set so that elongation percentage difference is matched with the target value by taking rolling load, the controlled variables of the shape control means, the crown of a base stock and a shape before rolling as variables, beforehand preparing a numerical formula model for expressing the elongation percentage difference to the center in the width about a plurality of places where are different in the distance from the end of a strip and substituting the predicted value of the rolling load, the crown of the base stock and the measured values of the shape before rolling in the numerical formula model. In the shape control during rolling, the controlled variables of the shape control means are calculated and corrected so that the elongation percentage difference is made to coincide with the target value by substituting the measured values of the rolling load which are continuously measured, the crown of the base stock and the measured values of the shape before rolling in the numerical formula model. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p>
