VOICE MULTI-NETWORK ROAMING FROM MOBILE TO 802.11 UTILIZING SIP SIGNALING WITH SIP PROXY SERVER OR REDIRECT SERVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice multi-network roaming from a mobile to 802.11, which utilizes SIP signaling with a SIP proxy server or a redirect server.

SOLUTION: A method of roaming between a mobile network and a wireless network can include a step of receiving an invitation from a user agent arranged in a mobile communication device via a radio network. The mobile communication device can be involved in a call via a voice channel in the mobile network. This method can comprise a step of selecting any one having an affinity with the user agent from among a plurality of gateways each being configured as an interface between at least one mobile network and the radio network. A call can be handed over from the mobile network so that at least one part of the call may be conducted via the radio network using the selected gateway.
