<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system for controlling and measuring the operating state of power consumption equipment under the control of a remote controller and power consumption measured by energy measuring equipment from a remote place by a remote monitoring device by using an Internet network. <P>SOLUTION: This remote control system A is provided with a remote monitoring device B connected to an Internet network C, a data relay unit E, a remote controller F and an interface unit G for switching the data of a plurality of power consumption equipment H and a plurality of energy measuring equipment I for fetching the data.
