PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactly constitute a carriage and the whole of an apparatus, while equipping the carriage with a means for efficiently radiating heat of a driving circuit of a front head unit, and a means for preventing poor ejection by removing an air bubble in ink in an ink channel. SOLUTION: The carriage 9 is provided with a heat radiating member 15 for radiating the heat of the driving circuit, an exhaust means 26 which can discharge the air bubble from an air bubble storage chamber 27 for storing the air bubble in the ink channel, and the front head unit 21 for ejecting the ink from a nozzle 22 arranged on the front side. In the carriage 9, the chamber 15, the exhaust means 26 and the unit 21 are juxtaposed in a main scanning direction (X-direction).
