PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surge-suppressing unit article which superior in economy, operability, productivity, and practicality, by its ability to reduce radiation noise due to surges, not to speak of the ability to suppress the life time deterioration of a system due to unwanted surges. SOLUTION: For this surge-suppressing unit article, in a transmission path for drive where surge or ringing occurs due to the mismatching between the impedance of the transmission path for drive and the impedance of a high-impedance load unit, etc., a surge-suppressing unit body is connected, in parallel with the side of the high-impedance load unit so as to put its terminal at high impedance.
