PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable body detection/notification system for performing proper notification corresponding to the movement of a movable body, and for excluding any unnecessary notification. SOLUTION: The presence/absence, relative distance and speed of the existence of a movable body are detected by a radar 1 using micro-waves or millimeter-waves, and notification is performed by a notifying means 2 based on the detection result so that proper notification corresponding to the movement of the movable body can be attained. Also, the movable body can be discriminated to some extents based on those detection results so that any unnecessary notification can be excluded. Furthermore, the micro-waves and the millimeter-waves are used to relatively minimize the influence of rainfall, snowfall, mist and dusts or the like on the detection even when this system is set outdoors.
