摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact flaw experiment apparatus for spectacle lenses which reproduces and evaluates the impact flaws generated by collision of foreign matters against the spectacle lens surfaces approximate to the environment that a user uses commonly, and an evaluation method for the same. SOLUTION: The impact flaw experiment apparatus 10 for the lens is equipped with: a cylindrical rotary vessel 50 in which the spectacle lenses 200, i.e., objects to be shocked and media 300, i.e., shocking objects, are sealed in a mingled state; a drive motor 130 for transmitting rotating force to the rotary vessel 50; a drive shaft 100; and a driven shaft 110. By allowing the rotary vessel 50 to rotate, the impact flaws on the lens surfaces caused by the collision of the media 200 against the spectacle lenses 200 are reproduced in the state approximate to the state of the impact flaws caused in the user's ordinary use environment.
