PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmitting device capable of obtaining desired power cut-off characteristics at all times and improving efficiency in assembling work and workability of components, without lowering the sealability between the inner peripheral surface of a driving-side rotating element and the outer periphery of a driven-side rotating element and a pressing member. SOLUTION: Since sealing members 16 separately disposed between the inner periphery of a transmitting ring 11 and the outer peripheries of a hub 13 and a pressing ring 15 are formed so that they can deform elastically in a radial direction, each sealing member 16 can securely be pressure contacted to the hub 13 and the pressing ring 15. Further, through the elastic deformation of each seal member 16, press-fitting load when pressing the hub 13 and pressing ring 15 into the inside of each sealing member 16 can be reduced and the movement resistance of the pressing ring 15 at power cutoff can be lowered, without the need for rigorous dimensional accuracy for securing the sealability.
