PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a foaming resin coated steel sheet by which a foaming resin coating applied on the steel sheet can be foamed and formed uniformly. SOLUTION: In this method, the foaming resin coating, which is prepared by blending a powdery foaming agent of a thermal decomposing type, such as dinitrosopentaethylenetetramine, azodicarbonamide, hydrazine derivatives generating nitrogen, carbon monoxide, or carbon dioxide when heated, with a coating having, e.g. polyvinyl chloride, polyester, or polyurethane as a base resin, is applied on the steel sheet, and then is baked by means of an induction heating and a hot air heating in parallel, thereby uniformly foaming and forming without causing excessive baking on the foaming resin coated surface nor insufficient baking.
