PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handling device of measuring object capable of accurately and surely measuring all the prescribed items for the object by a single item measuring means. SOLUTION: A transfer unit 62 to compose a second transfer device 60 is rotated roughly into a horizontal attitude in which the underside surface of the produce A can be photographed, and the underside surface of the produce A, sucked and held by a sucker 62a on the transfer unit 62, is photographed by a camera 71 on a first measuring device 70a composing an item measuring device 70. The transfer unit 62 is rotated and restored to be roughly vertical, in which a side surface of the produce A is photographed by the camera 71. After that, the produce A sucked and held by the sucker 62a is rotated to be roughly horizontal at 270 deg., and the whole circumference of the side surface of the article A is continuously photographed by the camera 71.
