<p>The system is operated with two compressors (1, 2) fitted with pneumatic ducts (3, 4) leading to a main distributing device (5). Four ducts (6, 7, 8, 9) are guided from there to the individual tires. Each of the ducts (6, 7, 8, 9) is provided with a nozzle (1o, 11, 12, 13), distributing pressurized air onto the road directly in front of a tire in order to remove the layer of water at the particular spot normally causing the wheel to slip. The system is activated above a certain speed when a wet surface is detected by sensor elements.</p> |
