The rotary mounting for a shelf in a corner cupboard has one mounting part which rotates around an axis (30) fixed to the cupboard to hold at least one shelf, with a sliding part at it which can be linked to the cupboard door and can be connected to the axis. A guide mechanism is at the second sliding part to give the relative movements between them, with a rotating guide unit (72) and a radial guide unit (74) to guide two guide bodies (76) secured to the sliding part. The radial guide has a damping system. The radial guide has a groove (104) for the second guide body, so that dampened vibrations can be carried by a swing section (102) around a vertical axis. The radial guide has a base (94) for the swing section, mounted to the cupboard.
