<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording sheet capable of obtaining excellent ink absorbing properties and furthermore, gloss of a photographic tone. <P>SOLUTION: An ink receiving layer comprising a synthetic amorphous silica with a fine pore volume of 2.5-4.5 mL/g, preferably 2.8-4.2 mL/g, and a mean particle diameter of ≥2.0 μm as a main component, and with high ink absorbing properties and a high drying speed, is formed on a substrate to obtain a photographic image with a high quality. In addition, a gloss imparting layer cast on the upper part of the ink receiving layer is provided, and it is compatible with the ink absorbing properties by the ink receiving layer of the synthetic amorphous silica to surely obtain the specified gloss of the photographic tone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
