PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of suppressing either or both (preferably both) of dyeing to a cloth to be washed and uneven fluorescent whitening. SOLUTION: The coated particle for a detergent is obtained by coating a core particle containing a dye and/or a fluorescent agent with a water-soluble polymer and a compound hardly soluble in water.
