PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal which can transmit an abnormality signal or positional information even when an emergency switch cannot be operated, and does not require transmission of the positional information in cases other than occurrence of emergencies. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal informs a remote monitor center of an abnormality occurring on a monitoring object person and is provided with; an operation means operated by the monitoring object person; an informing means for requesting the monitoring object person to operate the operation means; a positioning means for receiving a GPS signal to calculate a present location; a reporting means for reporting the monitor center by radio; and a control means for reporting information of the present location by the reporting means when the operation means is not operated within a prescribed time after starting monitoring of the monitoring object person.
