PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera shake correction system capable of performing a highly accurate camera shake correcting operation and always obtaining fine photographing images in any conditions including a case that a release operation is performed immediately after turning on power or immediately after starting a photographing mode independently of the time difference between the moment of vibration detection and the moment of photographing. SOLUTION: A vibration pattern information storage part 11 stores vibration pattern information detected by a vibration sensor 9 at the time of a release operation, and a camera shake correcting operation part 8 performs a calculation necessary for correcting image camera shake by using the vibration pattern information stored in the vibration pattern information storage part 11.
