LIQUID CRYSTAL PANEL DRIVING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel driving device which reduces an EMI (Electro Magnetic Interface) produced in high speed driving of a liquid crystal panel by overdrive. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal panel driving device is equipped with frame memory SDRAMs 1 to 4 and an overdrive data operating means 13. The overdrive data operating means 13 is equipped with a data transition reducing circuit having a function to: count the number of data transitions of all data transmitted to the frame memory for each clock period; reverse and transmit all data to the frame memory and at the same time transmit a toggle-controlled control signal to the frame memory in the case (1) the number of data transitions is more than a half; transmit all data to the frame memory as it is and at the same time transmit a control signal without toggle control to the frame memory in the case (2) the number of data transitions is less than half; and reproduce the original data on the basis of the control signal when the data in the frame memory is read.
