PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing composite particles, capable of producing the composite particles in which organic particles are strongly adhered to surfaces of an inorganic powder through simplified production processes, without using an organic solvent harmful to the human body. SOLUTION: This method for producing the composite particles comprises mixing the organic fine particles with the inorganic powder, plasticizing the organic fine particles in a vessel in the presence of carbon dioxide having a temperature higher than its critical temperature and pressure of≥4 MPa, and removing the carbon dioxide, so that the composite particles in which the organic fine particles are adhered to the surfaces of the inorganic powder are produced.
