PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an umbrella improving visibility with no feeling of oppression in using the umbrella even in the case of the medium-sized or large-sized umbrella. SOLUTION: When the length of one to about six rib members in the umbrella with about six to twelve rib members are made short to mount an umbrella material, the part with the short rib members is formed to be opened in arch shape. In the case of using the umbrella in a city area, operability is improved by changing a direction of putting up the umbrella depending on particularly other walkers, bicycles, obstacles and a wind direction.
