A novel medicinal product (A) consists of a dose of powdered medicament in a container for use in a dry powder inhaler, where the medicament comprises fine particles of tiotropium (I) and dry carrier(s) (II), the container has a high protection dry seal and the powder doses are provided by volumetric or electrical field dosing. Independent claims are included for: (1) apparatus comprising a dry powder inhaler and (A), specifically where (a) (A) is contained in the inhaler or (b) the inhaler and (A) are separate, and the container of (A) comprises a first part to be inserted into the inhaler and a second part enclosing the first part in moisture-impermeable packaging; and (2) a kit comprising a dry powder inhaler and (A), (A) being separate from, but suitable for insertion into, the inhaler. ACTIVITY : Antiasthmatic; antiinflammatory. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Anticholinergic.
