<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning structure of an optical writing head which can improve the relative positional accuracy between the optical writing head and a photoreceptor drum, or can reduce the number of parts. <P>SOLUTION: The optical writing head 8 is equipped with a positioning pins 8d. Further, the photoreceptor drum 6 is supported to be axially rotatable at a drum shaft 6c positioned and supported by a machine body 19 of an image forming apparatus body 1.
