<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience of transmission/receipt of picture-letter mail for a user of a mobile terminal device. <P>SOLUTION: The user of the mobile communication terminal device 10<SB>m</SB>creates a mail including a pictograph and transmits it to a mobile communication terminal device 10<SB>n</SB>. In a pictograph management server 52 receiving the mail, it is determined whether there is a differential pictograph as a pictograph not registered in a pictograph database installed in the mobile communication terminal device 10<SB>n</SB>or not. If the determination is affirmative, information about the differential pictograph is prepared in the pictograph management server 52 to be transferred to the mobile communication terminal device 10<SB>n</SB>with the mail.
